Solace Therapy LLC is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Outpatient Treatment Program that serves various counties surrounding Jefferson County in Texas. Solace Therapy LLC was founded by Dr. LaToya McCoy, Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in Port Neches, Texas.

Dr. McCoy has her PhD in Philosophy with a discipline in Biblical Counseling, PhD

in Theology, Masters of Ministry, Masters in Christian Counseling, and Associate in Psychology and provides eclectic counseling techniques ranging from faith-based and substance abuse counseling, cognitive, behavioral, belief and rational emotive therapy. 

She is a Neuro-linguistic Associate Practitioner of Neuro-linguistic Programming. Dr. McCoy is a Board-Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor in Texas, Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Licensed Belief Therapists, Certified Anger Resolution Therapist, Board Certified Belief Therapist, Certified Youth Behavior Advisor, Certified Ho'oponopono Practitioner, and Psychology from Ashworth.

Dr. McCoy has experience with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department (TJJD). She has experience as Program Director in intensive and supportive residential alcohol and drugs treatment facility, Outpatient and Residential TC Counselor. She served a drug intervention program in Jefferson County and has worked diligently as an addiction counselor within the criminal justice system.

She has worked in various populations in the substance abuse field and services are available to people with Sex and Pornography addiction. Her job as a Faith-based therapist is not to convert a client but to encourage a client to trust in his/her HIGHER POWER as one cannot do this work alone.
